It
wasn't until we reached our mid-forties that our hearts
longed for the serenity of the rural life. After owning
a couple places around the countryside, we settled for a spacious 30 acres
overlooking a beautiful valley east
of Ardmore ... about 10 miles east of
I-35.
Several years ago we fell in
love with Alpacas and decided that's what we wanted. We
began with five cats and three dogs,
and thirty acres. It took time and a lot of work to turn
our place into an alpaca-friendly ranch, but we were
driven!
We began our herd in early 2008 with two
pregnant female alpacas, along with two female Great
Pyrenees watchdogs. Our
dreams are now a reality! |
