West side of road, this was the main gate into the cemetery before it collapsed. The Maguire-Fairview Cemetery is located east of Slaughterville, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. It’s about ½ mile south of Etowah Road, on both sides of 96th Avenue SE. From Norman, take Highway 9 East to 84th Avenue. Turn south and go 3 miles. Turn left on Etowah Road and go one mile. Turn right (south) on 96th and go about ½ mile. The next photos are of Upchurches buried in this cemetery. |
