David Harmon Upchurch (1844-1917) was the fifth-born of PBU's eleven children. David married Sarah Ann Arnold (1844-1922) in March 1863 in Conway County, Arkansas. David and Strickland came to Oklahoma about 1892, first in the Cleveland County area, then moving on to Custer County where they homesteaded, raised families, and lived out their lives.
